Many a time, people can't distinguish body modification from body mutilation. Body modification can look painful but to the one experiencing it, it is something they have chosen for themeselves because they want it and take some sort of happiness from it.

Did you notice breast implants, silicone injections, hair cutting, hair removal, and circumcision are considered as body modification yet everyone has done at least one of these things.

I personally have tried to split my tongue, but as you would guess, it hurts a lot. One day I might be able to do it. I also plan on filing my two canines to have that vampiric look.

Problems with Body Modification

Tattoos are one thing but bod mod is an extremely more sensitive issue. The most common and basic bod mod is ear piercing, and it progresses from there. Why is doing that to your ear acceptable while doing that to any other body part isn't?
